Part of my mission is to get REAL TALK into a genuine conversation that people can have everyday. Instead of talking about others or what is going on with a Kardashian we can talk about what is really going through our heads. I know this is difficult because we always worry what others will think about us. Mental health is still a taboo topic and many feel uncomfortable talking about what they are really thinking. I like to tell people what I think they need to hear instead of what they want to hear. I am a very bad bullshitter. It is very hard for me to be fake and keeps things superficial. I like to know what makes a person them. What makes them tick. I like to pick brains. People may think I am just being nosey or rude but I am genuinely interested to get to know somebody especially if I feel we can relate.
This is one of the best things that I have done to help with my healing, showing up as my true self. The more I connect with people and feel understood, the more I feel better about myself just because I finally feel understood and helped the other person as well. It’s a mutual effect.
